Dr Joanna Seppelt is an essential member of The Paddington Dental Surgery. Her extensive experience and commitment to patient care make her an invaluable asset to our team and to your family’s dental health.
Dr Seppelt brings over two decades of experience to our practice, having offered sought-after conservative and preventative dentistry treatments to patients in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney for many years. This hands-on training has allowed her to forge lasting bonds with many patients, each of whom values her for her outstanding communication skills and compassionate approach.
Dr Seppelt has maintained various teaching roles, including positions at the University of Sydney and NSW TAFE, where she shared her knowledge with dental students, dental assistants and internationally-trained oral health professionals. She continues to inspire future dental professionals as a clinical instructor for final-year Dentistry students at the University of Sydney. Committed to staying at the forefront of dental practices, Dr Seppelt also actively pursues continuing education, including advanced courses on implants, crowns and veneers.
As the mother of two children, Dr Seppelt has a gentle and friendly manner that has proven effective in soothing young patients. She has worked and volunteered abroad in several paediatric units, allowing children in various parts of the world to obtain the care they deserve. Dr Seppelt is passionate about paediatric dentistry and her friendly demeanour has allowed countless young patients to have a comfortable (and even enjoyable!) experience at the dentist.
